1. How does the SMS service work?
By activating the SMS service for your property listing you can have an SMS sent to your mobile phone for each inquiry which is sent through the inquiry form. This way you are able to react immediately on every new booking inquiry. The forwarding of the SMS notification to your mobile phone is effected by an external SMS provider.
 
 2. How can I activate/deactivate the SMS service?
You can easily activate the SMS service yourself online through the "contact details" tab advertisers area. To get to this page please click on the red text link "Enter mobile phone number" on the advertisers home page. Now, you have to enter your mobile phone number in the according field in the paragraph "SMS alert service for booking inquiries", check the little box labelled "Activate SMS service" with your mouse and click the grey button "Save changes" at the bottom of the page. For each booking inquiry sent from then on you will receive an SMS notification to your mobile phone.

To deactivate the SMS service again, delete the check in the little box labelled "Activate SMS service" by clicking on it with your mouse and then click on "Save changes".
 
3. How much does the SMS service cost?
At first, we offer the SMS service for free for a certain trial period. During the trial period, we will identify our advertisers' demand for the new service and assure ourselves of the reliability of this method of notification and of the SMS provider. After the trial period, we reserve the right to offer the SMS service as a chargeable extra service or to withdraw it without further notice. We will inform you about our decision beforehand.
 
 4. When do I receive an SMS notification?
If you have activated the SMS service for your property listing, you receive an SMS for every booking inquiry which is sent through the inquiry form. The SMS is sent to your mobile phone right after your potential guest has submitted his inquiry.
 
5. What is the contents of an SMS notification?
The text of the SMS notification is limited to 160 characters. Therefore, the information of the inquiry can only be shown in a restricted scope. An SMS contains the following information: Property no.; name, phone no. and e-mail address of the potential guest; travel period, no. of people in party. "FeWo-direkt" will be shown as the sender of the SMS in your inbox.

7. Is there a warranty for the receipt of SMS notifications?
We recommend you not to rely exclusively on the SMS service to manage your booking inquiries but to check daily if you have received new inquiries through the Property inquiry management in the advertisers area. As the SMS notifications are sent by an external provider we cannot assume liability for SMS notifications which you do not receive.
 
8. What is the advantage of the SMS service?
As the SMS notifications are sent to your mobile phone directly on receipt of a new inquiry with a maximum delay of 10 minutes you can immediately react on your inquiries and this way transform even more inquiries of potential guests into fixed bookings.
