Villa Gecco - Cape Verde
The villa is located at the end of o small resort of 12 houses (these are the only ones on Maio). There are no tourists at all. The Spanish styled house has 1 bedroom with a king-size bed in the tower, bathroom and terrace on the roof. Here you are very privately. On the ground floor, there are 2 more bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with 2 beds and another bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living-and dining area has enough equipment for up to 10 people. There is a terrace dining place. The climate in Maio is especially healthy for those who have allergies. There are no vaccinations necessary at all.

The island of Maio with 5.000 inhabitants is only 20 miles (10 minutes fly) from the main island Santiago with the capital Praia away. 3 times a week a small aeroplane goes from Praia to Maio. A new international airport will open in the near future in Paria. There is also a ferry ship visiting Maio 3 times a week. The currency is the escudo, related to the euro, the official language is Portuguese. The other islands Sal and Boavista are already known as tourist places, but on Maio there are no tourists yet.
