Overlooking the Ocean Winds fairway lined with palms and old oaks, you can enjoy the breezes from the deck or screened porch. 4 large bedrooms offer accommodations for as many as 8 guests. Each bedroom has its own bath. The living room has a wood burning fireplace for cooler evenings in the off-season. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances. Wireless internet access throughout the home and from deck/porch. Computer, printer and fax-machine at your disposal. Multisystem TV/VCR, so you can bring your own favourite tapes. High chairs, games, toys and a library of books in English and German for children and adults are available for your enjoyment.

You are only minutes away from the nearest beach whether you walk or take the bike. You are equally close to the ocenfront pool complex and the clubhouse with restaurants, a bar and a small shop. Acess privileges to all club facilites are included. More shopping, dining, boating, fishing, bike-rental, pharmacy and medical services are available outside of the gated area. On Seabrook you have access to two champonship golf courses - Crooked Oaks and Ocean Winds. A team of professionals can help you to improve your hanidcap in private lessons and the use of the driving range is free. The neighbour island of Kiawah provides 3 courses and was hosting the 2004 Ryders Cup of Nations on its course bordering the ocean. This was also the site of the PGA Championship in May of 2007. In the larger Charleston vicinity you find numerous courses open to the public and many retail shops and outlets catering to the golfer.

Our price includes access privileges to all club facilities on Seabrook Island, like Swimming Pools, Golf Club, Tennis & Racquet Club, Club-Restaurant, Recreational Pavilion with exercise room, child play programs and organized events. To gain access each guest will have to obtain an amenity card at the club offices, valid for your rental period. It will be linked to your credit card for any charges occurred when actually using the club facilities, e.g. green fees, tennis lessons and horseback riding as well as consumption in the restaurants on the island. The club no longer accepts cash for payment.

We all enjoyed a wonderful week in your magnificent house on Seabrook Island in March. Your open plan home is so light and airy and well equipped. We had fun playing the two golf courses, quite a different experience to the European courses - especially encountering the alligators on the greens at Kiawah. We certainly made the most of the BBQ on the deck every evening watching the animals - deer and foxes wandering by. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the cozy open fire in the evenings.
