Notes
Telephone- free local and US calls only. Prefer to rent weekly. There is no facility to cook. The idea is to go out for all meals and enjoy the fabulous neighbourhood restaurants and eateries. The range is truly eclectic-Italian, Balinese, Burmese, Korean, Vietnamese, Polish, Austrian, Indian, Bengali, Ethiopian, Moroccan, Chinese, Thai, French, Sicilian etc. Did you know that NYC schools represent children from 188 countries? This is the case with the restaurants here. You can find many Asian, Central American, West and East European and African restaurants, bakeries and cafes here. There is a hopping bar scene for the late night party goers. On evenings that you just want to relax with a DVD, order in from our personally selected, 50 restaurant menus. Dinner is a phone call away. All cleaning supplies are organic or chemical free. There is an ioniser and air purifier on constantly. Cleaning is weekly, but extra cleaning for an additional charge is available. No smoking please.
Cristina Manicucci da Firenze: We spent a week in Mrs. Sahai East Village apartment: is clean and spacious, wery well equipped, furnished in a nice indian style. It's wery well situated, in a quite area but full of good restaurants and cafes, close to the subway and bustops to up-town and down-town. It is ideal to see NY like a new yorker. You have only to go out and walk, you are really in the heart of the Big Apple! Cristina Mannucci. Hello there Sudha,
Just a quick mail to say that we had a great time staying at your apartment. It really was the prefect place for us to stay and meet up with all our friends. We had a great stay in the cosy apartment and it was a pleasure meeting you as well. Many thanks.Take care Regards Andrew Swepson, London, UK
Dear Sudha, Staying in your lovely and well-designed apartment in the East Village made our trip to New York an extraordinary experience. We normally stay in hotels when we travel but renting your home allowed us many advantages we could never have in a hotel. Also, living in a residential neighbourhood, with easy access to Greenwich Village, SoHo and beyond, complete with all the needed services made us feel more like natives than tourists. And, of course, having a large bedroom, full bath, kitchen, washer/dryer and a full living room (complete with that wonderful flat-screen TV and sound system) allowed for a more relaxing visit to our favourite US city. Best regards, James and Lori, Philadelphia, PA USA
Dear Sudha, Would like to let you know we enjoyed the apartment very much. It is well set up and very comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and the apartment is very nicely decorated. The location is very convenient to subway and there is so much to do and see in the area within walking distance. Will contact you next time I am coming to New York. Sincerely Yours, Chris Carson, Bali, Indonesia

We loved the apartment and really enjoyed our stay there. The location is great and convenient to the subway. The neighbourhood was very unique and (thank goodness) not mobbed with people as some of the areas we walked through. The best meal we had was at Cafe Mogador - thank you so much for the recommendation. The apartment was very comfortable, much better than spending a week in a hotel room. We all slept well. We were out most of the day and evenings but it was great to come back to the apartment and spread out. My girls would watch TV and read and Greg and I would lie on the bed and recuperate! We ordered pizza one night from Two Boots and had it delivered. The small grocery around the corner and up the block was very convenient. It had everything we needed and I loved the array of organic and ethnic selections. The vacation was a complete success. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will stay in your place again when we return to NY.
