Cape Coral is a peninsula. The neighbouring city is Ft. Myers, which can be reached in approx. 10 - 15 minutes by car. Cape Coral has a sand beach, several golf courses, 1 yacht club and 3 - 4 boat decks for transportable water vehicles (and for hireable jet skis). The vacation villa is in the south-west of Cape Coral in a quiet residential area without traffic. The neighbouring houses are either vacation villas or American families. In this region, on the channel bank, there are no gaps between buildings. Our property is very well kept and has direct access to the Caloosahatchee River, which borders the peninsula in the East and in the South. There are 2 gigantic bridges over the Caloosahatchee, which connects the island with Ft. Myers. From Ft. Myers, there are streets leading to the beaches in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and the Island Sanibel and Captiva Island. Travelling by boat is even more fascinating.

Notes to the rental rates: December until April, as well as Christmas and Easter in the high season in Cape Coral: +10 % for the weekly booking. There is no surcharge for the booking by day (minimum 1 week). The minimum booking period is generally 1 week. Day by day booking from May until the 15th of December is possible. All the prices include 11 % taxes. Additionally to the final price, you have to pay 120 $ fort he final cleaning. When you book, you have to pay 30 % from the rental rate. Please sign travel cancellation insurance. The balance of 70 % has to be paid at least 10 days before the check-in. Please pay only in USD. If you own an USD account in Germany, it will be really convenient to transfer the money to our USD account. We recommend US-Checks or travel-checks issued by your house bank. According to the bank, there are 8 - 12 $ transfer costs per check, which are overtaken by you. Cash payment (insured letter) is also possible.

Our administrators are fluent in German and can help you with everything related to your accommodation. They are there to answer your questions during the stay. You have to pay 120 $ for the final cleaning on location, to our administrator. The electricity usage (25 $ per week is included in the rental rate, 0.10 $ per kWh). The water usage is included in the rental rate.

The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, as well as 1 big living- and dining room for 6 people. In the inviting and tastefully decorated living room, there is a TV with cable, stereo system, DVD-player and high speed Internet. All the 3 bedrooms are well equipped. In each bedroom, there is a ceiling ventilator. In the master bedroom, there is a TV. In the comfortable kitchen you will find a big refrigerator, baking oven, microwave, stove, dish washer as well as enough dinnerware. Both bathrooms have enough hand-/ bathing towels and a hair dryer. Further more, there are enough bathing towels for the pool and the beach. The terrace with a 10 m x 4.5 m large swimming pool has 4 deck chairs and invites you to relax. For a barbecue, there is a gas grill, an electric grill and a wood grill.
Ft. Myers and Cape Coral offer a lot of variety in this region. In the vacation house, you will find a lot of suggestions from the other guests. In Cape Coral you can find a 'Hooters' and several old restaurants (for example 'Tiki Hut'). Within close vicinity (627 W Cape Coral Parkway), you will find a good, new restaurant (Houlihan´s). About 2 miles south from Chiquita Blvd S, you will find in Cape Harbour a waterfront first class restaurant with excellent long drinks and cocktails.
Trips
The near islands Sanibel and Captiva offer pure nature and have Nature Reserves, which can be explored by canoes (Sanibel). Enjoy the sunsets on Sanibel and the sunrise in Captiva. Nice and good restaurants offer a great ambient (although not very cheap). Cabbage Key can be reached only by boat. Take a snack before going by boat to the bar (in the bar you will have a surprise). Not far from Cape Coral, you will find the famous flea market (North Ft. Myers), Tanger Outlet (before crossing to Sanibel) or Designer Outlet Miromar (on the Interstreet 75 Bonita Springs).Other interesting destinations are the National Parks, the water parks (also in Cape Coral), or the adventure parks (Babcock). In the vacation house you can find cards, travel folders and other numerous tips. We will not mention here the absolute highlights (Everglades, Key West, Miami Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, etc.), as they are described in detail by travel guides.
In Cape Coral, there are several 27, 18 and 9-hole golf courses. These are private, half-private or public courses. The Green Fees in the summer time are 25 - 30 $, and in the winter between 30 and 80 $. Ft. Myers has more or less the same offers, yet it is more expensive. Bonita Springs and Naples offer exclusive courses. In Ft. Myers, there are at least 2 golf-outlets, in which the golf equipments are considerably more convenient than in Germany.
