Our house is located between neighbouring homes on the eastern edge of the village of Soglio. Soglio is situated on a southern slope in the valley community of Bergall, in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The mountainside location offers an unobstructed view of the mountainous landscape and the village’s roofs. The solid stone house was built 300 years ago. It was restored during the sixties, and great care was taken to combine its historic elements with functionality. The interior is constructed mainly of wood, as well as Bergell granite, which has been used in this region for generations.
