Port Sóller - Puerto de Soller has changed greatly with its new harbour and now semi-pedestrian front line. All the bars and restaurants are enjoying offering more ‘al fresco’ dining and in general this has given the area a lift, not to mention being healthier and safer especially for families with young children. There is great anticipation surrounding the new Seven Star Hotel, the Atalaya. Work is anticipated to begin in spring 2008. The harbour with its sandy beach REPIC is also nice to go for a little dip in the sea or go on a boat trip, diving, surfing, sailing... Enjoy a drink or ice cream in one of the nice cafés and watch the day go by. From the Port you can also catch the tram to Sóller centre it runs every half hour and is worth a trip.

Soller... Soller lies in the middle of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range that lines the northwest coast of Mallorca. For centuries the high mountains to the south of Soller isolated the town from Palma and the rest of the island. Today a road tunnel goes under those mountains though for day trippers from Palma the way to arrive is on the Palma-Soller train which is one of Europe's great railway journeys. The train arrives in the town of Soller then you must change to a tram which crawls its way down to the port of Soller.
