Orgiva is a picturesque southern Spanish village, situated in a deep valley in the middle of the rugged mountain landscape between Granada and the coast, surrounded by rivers and productive olive and orange groves. Alongside its numerous street cafes, bars, small shops, weekly market and indoor market Orgiva also offers supermarkets, banks, a post office, a cinema, a police station and an emergency medical centre.
Availability notes Our tips for your best choice of season: The ski resorts are working from December to April. January we do the olive harvest; in February starts the spring time with a wonderful almond blossom all over the area; in March Órgiva is celebrating its patron saint; Easter offers the spectacular processions every where; the famous and historically significant and revered orange blossom (El Azahar) smells during the month of April; May and June is the best time for trekking tours and Granada is celebrating the Feria with Flamenco and Bull Fights; July, August vibrates the authentic Spanish way of life, people have Siestas and are enjoying long and mild summer nights, in this time are the most Fiestas in the villages; September is perfect for having a empty beach and very warm water; October Órgiva celebrates its harvest festival; November Granada offers a big Jazz Festival; December starts the ski season again and the bars in the area are lighting the fire places and roasting chestnuts.

Notes to the rental rates: The price is for the whole house and all bills (including fire wood in the winter) for 6 people. There are no more costs. Included in the price are: linens, hand towels, bath towels, end cleaning, fire wood, gas, electricity. Price for extra beds for a 5th or a 6th guest: 10 Euro per person per night. Children under 6 years old are free. We provide free high chairs and cots. Change over day is Saturday, but in promotion and low season can be made exceptions. Also we offer long lets in the promotion season for 200.00 /300.00 Euros per week, depending of length of stay. And we can offer special rates for last minutes bookings (at least 20 days before arrival).
The cottage is equipped inside and outside with tasteful and solid furniture of massive wood. Inside the house you will find many attractive details such as arabic tiles in the 2 bathrooms, rustic rooftrees, typical andalucian clay floor tiles and wrought iron works in the window grates and in the chimney in the large bathroom.
