The 20 sq.m. large, sunny south and east facing terrace is a secluded viewing platform. So you can go topless or nude in the sunshine. Ideal location for this well-maintained apartment in part of the wonderful Urbanisation San Juan de Capistrano, beside the 'Parque Natural'. 4-7 min. by car takes you to the Old Town and Nerja town centre, or 4-5 min. to lovely Burriana beach. Yet you'll be staying on the edge of a 'white' village on te edge of the first chain of mountains. This neo-Moorish suburb is part of Nerja and was architect-designed in the style of a typical Andalusian village. Nerja is acknowledged to be the most beautiful place on the Costa del Sol. There's a unique Spanish atmosphere with all modern tourist facilities, and the mild weather is great for sun, sport and cultural events in all seasons.

You really need a car (bus connections) but it's really cheap to rent one here. *** Information for allergy sufferers: Bedclothes and pillows are washable (60 degrees) and are regularly washed. Of course you can wash them again. ***In the apartment you'll find books, travel guides, maps, language guides etc. This apartment is not particularly good for children under 6 - only because of the bench on the terrace - but children are welcome at the parents' discretion.
Internet: there is open access wifi so you can use your laptop without cost. The well-maintained site includes one of the loveliest pool areas in the district. The pool oasis has a wide pool with rocky island and waterfall and a special pool for children. Furnishings include: warm/cold climate control, telephone in apartment for receiving calls but not phoning out, dishwasher, microwave, 2 sun loungers, 3 electric heaters supplementary to central heating (warm/cold), satellite TV with all German channels, video recorder, ceramic hob with 2 hot plates and 2 supplementary hot plates, ironing board and iron, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, kettle, toaster, bread warmer etc. Mosquito net for allergy sufferers, bed covers and pillows are washable.
This well-maintained apartment was completely renovated and offers the latest comfort and quality combined with Mediterranean and Andalusian atmosphere. The owners, who built it for themselves, keep it very clean and fresh. We provide iron and ironing board, hair dryer in bathroom, CDs with the CD player etc. It's double glazed for winter warmth and there's no damp. The hillside location and the building style of the Urbanisation allow for cooling breezes in summer, so warm days are better spent here than in the town of Nerja. Concerning DSL, There's a router with wireless access in the office beside the pool. It's not locked, so if you bring your laptop you can read your emails in the comfort of the bar.
Extras
At night from your terrace you'll see wonderful stars and the coastal lights of Nerja. During the day a bus will transport you to the beach or to Nerja. On the other hand, parking on Burriana beach only costs 1 euro a day. The Poollandschaft pub (reserved for residents and guests) is one of the best locally and is open from the week before Easter till the end of October, and 24 hrs in high season. The little supermarket in the Urbanisation is open daily in season (end of March - start of November) form about 08.30 till 20.30, including Sundays (and you can buy fresh bread daily). There's a bigger supermarket three minutes away by car or bus. 'Andaluz' tennis club is also only 3 minutes away by car. The motorway slip road just 7 minutes away by car is the starting point for all kinds of trips. And Malaga's airport is only 45 minutes away by car.
Places to visit
The famous 'balcony of Europe and Nerja's dripstone caves are just 2 of the highlights. You must see the Alhambra, Granada and the Sierra Nevada (only 1.5 - 2 hours away by car). Cordoba with its famous cathedral and mosque is just 2 - 3 hours away by car, and even Seville is just a day trip. The countryside has countless little white villages (Frigiliana 10 minutes), vineyards (Cómpeta) and walks leading to them. Via the motorway you can reach Marbella with its famous 'high society' harbour 'puerto banus' in 1.5 - 2 hours. Even Gibraltar and its monkeys and Tarifa are easy to get to.
A detour must be recommended to Costa de la Luz. But you can find countryside and good walks around Nerja. You can guarantee you won't have enough time to see everything - so you'll have to come again!
It takes about 15 - 20 minutes by car to get to a lovely 18 hole golf course (motorway exit Velez-Malaga - Baviera-Golf). More large, beautiful golf courses can be reached in 20 - 30 minutes via a really scenic stretch of road. If you take the coastal road towards Motril, 20 - 25 minutes brings you to Almuñecar. Nerja and Torrex (nearby) are going to have golf courses soon. Both projects now have planning permission.
