The fishing village of Benajarafe is situated 25 km east of Málaga and 7 km west of Torre del Mar, only half an hour's drive from the airport Málaga and the beautiful town of Nerja. This village is not too touristy, yet there are many international restaurants nearby. The food at the restaurants - especially seafood - is delicious, fresh and very reasonable. All facilities - such as beach, supermarket/shops, restaurants, doctors, bus stop - are within walking distance of our house.

The apartment has a separate entrance directly from your own fenced in parking lot. It consists of 2 large twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms en-suite, kitchen, lounge, sun lounge/dining room and a shady terrace. There is the possibility of providing at extra cost an extra bed or a baby's cot. On the two sunny terraces around the pool, there are plenty of chairs, sun beds and shades. Laundry and maid service can be arranged at extra cost. The owners being resident on site ensure that the house, pool and garden are well maintained and that they can give you a warm welcome and assist during your stay.
There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes' drive which are also suitable for beginners and where you can hire the complete equipment. Furthermore, there are at least 30 more golf courses within 1 hour's drive. That's why the Costa del Sol is called the Costa del Golf.
Skiing in the Sierra Nevada
Within 1 hour's drive, you are in the alpine skiing resort of the Sierra Nevada. So you can easily do it as a day trip. Season from December to May. All equipment can be hired on site. Play golf in the morning, ski in the afternoon!
Sightseeing
There is a lot to discover in the beautiful and varied region of Andalusia. Nearby are the famous white villages, such as Cómpeta, Frigiliana, Mijas; Nerja with its famous caves and the Balcon de Europa; Ronda, Granada, Marbella, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Jerez, Córdoba, caves of Guadix, Morocco (by ship) and much more. There are also a horse race track and various big shopping malls in the area. Even though all facilities are within walking distance of the house, we strongly recommend that you hire a car during your stay.
