This charming hideaway house, Maravista', overlooking Funchal Bay and the Atlantic ocean, is a private property, located only a few steps (about 5 minutes) away from the centre of Funchal. It is located in a nice garden with a belvedere on the sea cliff, fully furnished, with indoor and outdoor dining and separate sitting area. The property has been completely restored, in keeping with the islands traditional architecture. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, including dishwasher. The living and dining area are spacious, bright and airy. This 2 floor house has a main bedroom (with double bed), a second bedroom (with 2 single beds) located on the top floor and a third bedroom on the ground floor with a bunk bed. The house provides all linens and towels. Sleeps 6 and has an extra sofa bed. You can find 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, as well as a private garage.
The house is located in the historic part of Funchal, within the more traditional architectural area. The neighborhood has many excellent restaurants and no car is needed for everything is a short walking distance away. Sea pools 200 metres from the house. The property lies on the sea cliff overlooking Funchal bay, near the 'Barreirinha' sea pools and Fort S. Tiago.
