Would you like to take a rest in the midst of nature with lots of possible for trips and activities? Then the Pingo-house in our little nature park is your ideal holiday home! The 6-pers. Pingo-house has a cosy living room with a kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. The beds will be made for you and the kitchen is fully equipped. Furthermore the house has a shower, toilet and central heating and in the living room there is of course a TV, a stereo and you even have wireless internet. The terrace with garden furniture looks over our own ‘pingo’, a little lake from the Ice age, and the beautiful landscape that surrounds you. You can relax wonderfully. Whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter, it is always an oasis of peace, quiet and nature here. For questions or reservations please don't hesitate contact us. Here you are in the scenic landscape the ‘Friese Wouden’. Also typical for this area are the ‘pingo’s’, little lakes that came into existance during the Iceage and are protected. Many different birds and dear call this there home. Within a 15 minute drive you find yourself in the beautiful Lauwersmeer area, where also the boat to wadden island Schiermonnikoog departs. There are many museums, as for example the ‘Clogs Museum’ and the well-known botanical gardens 'De Kruidhof' in Buitenpost is ‘around the corner’. We have lovely cycling- and walking paths, you can go fishing, canoeing, swimming, and the lovely towns as Dokkum, Leeuwarden and Groningen offer a lot of sights and the extra’s of a town. Also for the children the Aqua Zoo in Leeuwarden is worth a visit but there are too many possibilities to tell!

There is table tennis, washing machine and dryer on the grounds that can be used. We can arrange bicycles for you you (€ 5,- per bike, per day) and in our little hotel you can mostly hire the sauna there ( 1 minute walk form your holiday home). You can also rent a DVD-player, DVD's and a videorecorder.
