The villa consists of five bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms and a shower/laundry room in the basement. A magnificent open plan sitting/dining room with vaulted ceiling has picture windows to make the most of the wonderful views that Villa Louise is fortunate enough to enjoy. It has a large luxurious leather corner sofa positioned to again make the most of the views. The bright red fully equipped kitchen complete with breakfast table has large windows overlooking the mountains. Tiled floors and granite/marble staircases complete the picture. The bedrooms all have cherry wood beds and double wardrobes apart from the master bedroom which has a brass bed. All double rooms have king-size beds. The villa has a balcony on 3 sides where you will find seating to enjoy your afternoon tea whilst basking in the sun and enjoying the vista. A large covered stone terrace and garden sit on the 4th side with lake and mountain views.

The villa is in the locality of Marena, 310 m above sea level in the commune of San Siro (formerly known as Santa Maria Rezzonico). It is conveniently situated - a 10 minute drive from the Menaggio/Cadenabbia 18 hole International golf course; the second oldest Golf Club in Italy and also ski resorts in the Alps, both in Italy and Switzerland, are a one to two hour drive. A fifteen minute leisurely walk down to the lake will bring you to Rezzonico with its medieval castle and Pizzeria. You can also swim in the lake from the beach there, which is 5 mins away on foot. The beach is near the Hotel Ristorante Sole where you can sample the local delicacies. The beautiful town of Menaggio which is located on the western shore of Lake Como is about 10 mins. away with its ferries, cruisers, shops banks and restaurants. You can relax in the piazza whilst you decide on which flavour ice cream to have.

Notes to the rental rates: There is a final cleaning cost of 120 Euro when staying for one week and 160 Euro when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen and towels included. There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30 % deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
The community San Siro, which consists of 10 smaller villages situated on the western side of Lake Como, is approximately 5 - 7 km north of Menaggio and 12 km south of Gravedona. The towns Acquaseria, Santa Maria and Rezzonico are directly on the lake. The peaceful villages of Torre, San Martino, Carcente, Soriano, Gallio and Treccione are located above the slopes with their beautiful panorama views. This is a good starting point for walks and excursion, from leisurely to more demanding: to the peak of Monte Grona (1756 m, fantastic panorama) or Monte Bregagno (2107 m), along the “Via dei Monti Lariani”, through forests at an altitude between 700-1200 m, passing old alpine huts with their fantastic views of the magestic Alps and Lake Como. Pebble beaches can be found near Santa Maria, near the Fort Rezzonico, and in Acquaseria. San Sero is known for genuineness of its villages as well as being located near Lake Como.
Lake Como
The Lake of Como is among the Alps-seas.With a length of 55 km and a low of 410 m is the lake belongs to the deepest in Europe. A luxuriant vegetation prevails on the basis of the mild climate here.The lake splits in the middle of a reverse Y, at whose both ends the biggest cities Lecco and Como lie. This area is not only known for its fabulous landscape around the Lake Como, but also for its industries, especially for the silk industry, which covers large parts of the global production.

Menaggio lies at the North-western coast of the Comer lake on half route. It is a picturesque village with narrow alleys, comfortable quarters, restaurants and stores. The oldest inns and villas come from the 19. Century. The protracted boulevard invites to stroll. The lake of como is one of the most beautiful and certainly one of the deepest seas in Europe. He is at the foot of the Alps and directly at the border to Switzerland. Within max. 30 minutes, one reaches Lugano. The Comer lake is suitable for each types of water-sport, the green valleys and the high mountains ideally loads to the strolls and immigrates. With trip-ships, one can undertake beautiful trips into other places at the Comer lake, for example Belaggio, Cadenabia, Como, Lecco etc. Menaggio has a pretty beach.
