Situated on a wide strip of dunes, the property of the Disarlo family is only about 100 steps away from the lovely natural beach at the Ionian Sea. The two holiday homes of the 'Tenuta Disarlo' - 'Casetta Sandra' and 'Casa Beatrice' - lie side by side, but each house has its own private area, completely enclosed for your safety and the safety of your children. Flower beds, bushes and trees make sure that there is enough distance and privacy. Each lot offers plenty of playing ground for children, and parking space for your car. The little Casetta Sandra is ideal for couples or young families with a baby. The more spacious Casa Beatrice with its two bedrooms can accommodate two couples or families with 2-3 children. The two homes can also be rented in common by two families or small groups. Of course both homes are fully air conditioned and heat able.

The quiet little agglomeration of Monaco Mirante lies on the Gulf of Taranto, 3 km southeast of the beach resort and small seaport Campomarino, on the Ionian Sea. Our romantic Mediterranean garden is surrounded by a coastal landscape: dunes, beach and sea in the front, gardens, vineyards and olive groves at the back. On narrow streets winding their way through vinyards and olive trees more than a hundred years old, you can reach the typical Apulian town of Maruggio with its friendly and hospitable inhabitants in a few minutes by bicycle. Here, you find all you need for your vacation. The larger cities of Lecce, Taranto and Brindisi, all well worth a visit, are less than 1 hour by car away. Coming from the north (Rome, Napoli, Bari), you follow the Adriatic highway all the way to Taranto, then it is less than an hour to Monaco Mirante. The airports of Brindisi and Bari are about 60 or 100 mins respectively away.

If you arrive by plane or train and do not want to rent a car, we can arrange for you to be picked you up at the airport or station (at cost price, petrol and driver). We do recommend for you get your own mode of transport. We provide you with bicycles (inclusive), which are perfect for smaller tours and the daily shopping. You can either rent a car at the airport or pick from our fleet: a Fiat Cinquecento, a Ford Transit (9 seated) and two motor scooters. Please ask for availability and pricing.
