We lived ourselves in this house for 10 years, with our small children, this is why it is comfortably and individually arranged. We have a kitchen with a cooker on gas, oven, dish washer, and refrigerator. The bedroom has a double bed, the ‘children’s room’ has a 3 level bunk bed, which can be converted into a double bed. The bathroom has 2 sinks, shower, WC, bidet and a washing machine. There are no doors between the rooms, except of the bathroom door. The terrace is 300m² large and it offers places to sit under the olive trees and the grape vines. The 12.000m² large lot has about 500 old olive trees and it is completely fenced, so that pets can run about freely. There is also a travel trailer with maximum 5 places to sleep in, which is suitable especially for children. Our Trullo is ideal for guests that look for a rustic house with a wonderful natural environment and silence. Our English speaking German administrator lives in the close vicinity and she can give you good advice.

Notes to the rental rates: Please compare the rental rates with those of other vacation apartments and you will see that Trullo Lo Svevo has one of the most convenient rental rates, in spite of its top quality comfort. The idea is that well satisfied guests are more important than our financial advantage, and the guests should feel home in our house. The motto is: ‘My home is your castle!’
The payment procedure: half of the rental rate should be paid when you confirm the reservation. The rest can be paid just before the move-in. The payment is refundable if you request it earlier than 8 weeks before the move-in. There is an air conditioning that can be used for heating and for air dehumidification in the winter time. The air conditioning provides a very pleasant inside temperature in the summer time.
The Trullo is about 300 years old according to the experts, but it was newly completely restored and it corresponds fully to the modern comfort standards. During the restoration process a great deal of attention was paid so that the old construction substance is not changed. This is how it came that we have one of the very few antique and rustic Trullis. From 2007 I am planning to put 2 bikes at your disposal, which can be rented for a protective charge of 15 € per bike and per week.

Notes
There are maximum 5 places to sleep in. There is room for 8 people at the dining table. The rooms are connected to each other without doors, but there are doors for the bathrooms. There is a travel trailer for free, 20 m away from the house, which offers place for 5 people, and is suitable especially for children, who always love to explore distant places. There is a radio with CD and tape. There is a TV with Italian programs and German Astra-Sat channels and CNN. There is heating and air conditioning, as well as a Danish fireplace. Families with many children, who enjoy a rustic life in the country side, will feel very well here. Couples and singles can also find an ideal hideaway in a very silent and relaxing environment. The next neighbours live about 150 m away and they are very friendly and helpful. A narrow, tarmac path is 50 m away from the house and is used only by the neighbours. This means, there is no traffic noise.
There are cheap flights to Bari, Brindisi, Rome, Naples or Pescara with hlx.com (every Tuesday from 18:00 there is the happy hour) with Easyjet, Airberlin and with Ryanair. There are convenient tariffs for cars drives as well. There are cheap flight connections with other Italian lines as well. I haven’t got further more detailed information yet. You need a car, because Trullo is located in the country side. The bike tours through Zona dei Trulli are fascinating, as you have the chance to ride through regions where there are no vehicles to bother. The next supermarket is 2 km away.
Guests’ book and directions for use
An air conditioning system is installed. In the winter, it can also be used for heating and dehumidification of the air. This heating system, combined with the warmth from the fireplace, provides a very good, romantic atmosphere in a stylish ambiance, so that the winter months are very relaxing. In Trullo there is an English guests’ book with complete directions for use. In this way, you can get precious insider tips about stores, places to visit, restaurants, and typical Italian ways. The English speaking German administrator can guide you to the house, if you make an appointment in advance. You can make the appointment on the phone. She is always available, but we invite you to read the information in the guests’ book as well, as they are always completed with new information by the former guests, so they are up to date.
Guests’ Entries
Renter Goldschmidt, Ostfildern: ‘We enjoyed the vacation week in ‘Swabian Trullo’ very much and we felt very good in your former house. It was beautiful not to have a common touristic dwelling place, but a peaceful and private atmosphere.’ Renter Zipperer, Eningen: ‚Your ‚Trullo’is really unique. The location is wonderful and the small town is also charming, with its narrow and momentarily empty streets. In Trullo I had a great time as well. The ground in front of the house, with the roses in bloom is unique. The support offered by Mrs. NN was excellent. She takes care of your house with lots of love. This is, of course very important.’
Renter Schüz, Kronberg: ‚Thanks to the guiding lines you gave us in advance, we managed to find the Trullo without losing our way one single time. Even if it was dark outside, we were still able to find it. This means, your description was wonderful. Thank you! All that you could only guess in the night of the arrival, namely the fantastic surrounding landscape, proved to be marvellous in the daylight. You have a wonderful place there. We explored the surroundings a little bit, we made trips here and there, especially to the sea, and we went down the coast street to the cape, as you advised us to. The sea offers a wonderful view. I will always remember the mild evenings on the terrace. Short and good: we relaxed very well and we will keep this vacation in mind for a long time. We usually don’t visit a place twice, but Lo Svevo could be an exception in this case.’
