Casa Alice is situated right in the heart of San Lorenzo, one of Rome’s coziest and liveliest quarters. close to Termini central railway station and the University area. San Lorenzo is one of liveliest districts in Rome, with its array of pubs, restaurants and diners. Two important roman Gates are located here. Tiburtina Gate, from which begins the ancient Tiburtina road and Porta Maggiore Gate from which starts Casilina and Prenestina roads. Several roman aqueducs joined to this last monumental Gate. The romanic San Lorenzo Basilica, with its large Verano Square, have been damaged in the 1942, during the 2nd world war. Inside this church, the Emperor Costantino acknowledged the importance of Catholic religion during the Roman Empire.
