The apartment is located in a small Palazzo Condominiale (6 units) in a very quiet location at the end of a small uphill road and nonetheless it is near the S. Pietro train station (less than a 5 minute walk) and the Vatican (15 minute walk). There are smaller houses with gardens found around the Palazzo. The historic center (Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Piazza Navona...) is also only about a 15 minute bus ride away. The completely renovated apartment is located on the elevated ground floor, it has windows in 3 different directions and is comprised of a spacious living room flooded with light and a double sleeper sofa and Sat. TV (also all of the German programs), a bedroom, eat-in kitchen with kitchenette, refrigerator/freezer combination, dishwasher, gas stove with electric baking ducts, German coffee machine, iron and bathroom with shower, hair dryer. The completely newly renovated apartment can be heated and cooled (climate control units in the living room and bedroom).
The apartment is close to the Vatican (about a 15 minute walk), train station and bus stop are about 200m away, all attractions of the historic center (forum romanum, Colosseum, Spanish Stairs, Piazza Navona, etc) can be reached with a 15 minute bus ride. You can also comfortably reach the sea with the train from the S.Pietro train station (about 30 minutes - Fregene in the north, Ostia in the south) and also the Lago di Bracciano. The famous Castelli Romani (Frascati, Castel Gandolfo, Albanian Sea, etc) can be reached by train from S.Pietro. A lot of pizzerias and trattorias (small Italian restaurants) can be reached within a 10 minute walk. A lot of shopping facilities and a large market (daily) - the most famous market in Rome (Porta Portese)- can be reached with a 15 minute train ride. Only a 15 minute train ride away is the famous walkway through Gianicolo with fantastic views of the city, the Trastevere district with its famous old alleys & typical eateries.
