The Guest Studio is an independent unit within our house, with its own entry, with all necessary commodities. At the front you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. At the rear you have your own covered terrace (portico) with a large table and four chairs en a wonderful view at the garden and the surrounding hilly countryside. Our 20x40 ft swimming pool is at your disposal. The studio has a surface of about 45 m2 and consists of a large living/dining/sleeping room, kitchen and bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet and large washbasin. The furnishing is a mixture of „country and modern“, and is chosen with great care. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a 4-point gas stove with hood, electric oven with grill and fridge. The two beds have spring mattresses 3ftx6ft8' in size. You can further make use of the washing machine, iron and ironing board in our utility room. The completely fenced-in one-acre-garden has been carefully planned, oleanders and roses abound.
Our house is in Filetto, near the town of Senigallia (7 km, 10 minute to drive). Senigallia is an old town, full of historical brick buildings, small shadily streets, many squares, a fort (the Rocca Roveresca) and beautiful porticoes along the Misa, the river leading to the Adriatic Sea. The old market, the Foro Annonario, has been restored to its original beauty and offers every morning plentiful vegetables, fruit and fish fresh from the sea for sale. Thursday is the general market day. Senigallia is a typical Italian bathing resort and in the summer months the shops are open until midnight; particularly in July there are many concerts, plays and other cultural highlights to be enjoyed. At one hour's drive you find Urbino, a real highlight of the Italian renaissance. Closer by our house are Ostra and Corinaldo, old fortified towns with high brick walls. The wines of the area are those of the Verdicchio di Jesi and the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba.
