Fondo Le Teglie is located 15 km south of Todi in Fondo Le Teglie is nestled in the Medieval Borgho of Sismano in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. In the Middle Ages Sismano was an important castle in the region belonging to the noble Colas Iacobelli. Following hundreds of years of regional fighting the castle was eventually purchased by Bartolomeo Corsini in 1607 and has remained in the Corsini family ever since. The castle of Sismano lies on the hilltop (433 metres above sea-level) on the provincial way linking Avigliano Umbro and the ancient hill top town of Todi. The castle and much of the surrounding lands are still controlled by Marchesi Genevra Corsini, the previous owner of the 17th century Farm House Fondo Le Teglie. Sismano is conveniently located with 15 km to the E45, perfect for day trips to Assisi, Orvieto, Montefalco, Spoleto, Bevagna and more. 4 km to shops, and several delicious restaurants and pizzerias close by. Countryside surrounding for nice walks.

- The Master Bedroom is a lovely spacious room. Wonderful views tastefully decorated. Umbrian linens provide a local feel. Opens to a large Master bathroom. Rosso Nero Bedroom is lovely room with pool views. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower. Olive Bedroom is a cozy room with corner cabinets and nice views. Blue and Brown Room is a spacious room that can have two singls or made as a large double bedroom. All bedrooms have remote control ceiling fans, screens on the windows, interior shutters for complete black out. All rooms have bath robes and flipflops.

The house is well layed out for groups of friends or family groups. The kitchen, lounge, living and dining area are open - so all can enjoy conversation and company. The study with computer provides a quite gettaway. The laundry room is spacious with indoor clothes line for cooler, wetter periods and washer and dryer for guests. There are four outdoor eating areas that are great for lunch under the covered loggia or in the courtyard when using the grill or pizza oven. A local cook can be made available to prepare your meals at the house. Attention to detail is provided here with adapters, cell phone made available for guests use, phone cards for international dialing. Housekeeping with rental is mid-week clean and change of towels, with final cleaning on Saturday. A detailed housebook is provided with information about the house, the surrounding areas, restaurants reviews, and much more. The owner and staff are available for as much or little assistance as you need.
