Relaxation and culture are easily combined on a vacation here. The property is big enough to go jogging on your own grounds. In the back of the villa there is a small forest, in front you have orchards, olive-groves, lawns and a small pond. Further down in the valley you see part of Pistoia. Pistoia was founded 2 centuries before Christ and for some time in the middle-ages the capital of the Province of Piostaia was an important commercial centre. In 1115 it became a free city, however, it was already in the 14th century that Pistoia lost its political influence and ever since the towns has only been known as appendix of Florence. Yet, it is worthwhile to visit the ancient city of Pistoia where you will find many very beautiful and interesting witnesses of history dating back to medieval periods. Nowadays Pistoia is a busy industrial and trading centre and is especially well know for the cultivation of all kinds of plants.
Did you know, that in Florence there is an opera festival with famous directors and artists from all over the world. I would be pleased to make the reservations for you.
