Le Ferriere in Livorno, Italy
Le Ferriere is an ancient ex-water-mill of the 15th century and is situated in the Natural Park of the Livorno hills (approx. 4 miles eastern part of Livorno). This rustic Tuscan stone-house is in a single position near of a brook and a forest of holms and Mediterranean bush but also near of the town of Livorno, ca. 6 miles and near of the very nice rocky and shingle coast. Going to the southern part, approx. 8-12 miles, you come to the sandy beach, who reach from Rosignano Solvay to Punta Ala and also afterwards. Other sandy beaches you will find in the northern part of Livorno like Tirrenia, Marina di Vecchiano (situated in the middle of the natural park of San Rossore) and finally the beach of Versilia.
