Set in a prominent position, this magnificent 17th century villa is furnished with high quality taste and style. It is situated above the medieval town of Bagnone in Lunigiana (Tuscany). Recently it was restored, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It is spread over three levels linked by a central staircase with stone steps, brick vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors. A double door leads to a very spacious and warm dining room and a large and comfortable lounge. The kitchen was restored echoing a Tuscan style sense of history.
The house has been designed to cater for a large family, a group of friends and comprises five double bedrooms and four bathrooms (of which two have showers, one with shower and bath tub, one with only WC). On the ground level there is access to a very spacious and attractive walled courtyard with private gardens and newly installed swimming pool which overlooks a beautiful vineyard, chestnut valleys and during sunset the scenery is outstanding.

The villa is situated amongst a very green and beautiful valley with outstanding scenery. Ideal for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The swimming pool area is an ideal place for entertaining and relaxing time. Ideal for excursion and sightsee walking surrounded by vineyards, chestnut woods, nut and olive trees, etc. Many local 'trattories' are in the vicinity where one can enjoy good Italian meals. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is good. Annexed to the house there is a wine company that produces, thanks to the position of the vineyards, the quality of the grapes and the cure during the wine making process, an excellent refined wine.

'We sponderful week in this outstanding place. Its a truely historic building, but with all the amenities of today. The family age 5 months to 70 years all enjoyed the stay, the marvellous swimming pool, the great kitchen the big rooms. We felt like Italians, bought Lardo di Collonata at the source and enjoyed the neighbor's wine cellar and the Toscana Merlot from it. We definitely plan to come back to this lovely place close to Carrara and to La Spezia and Cinque Terre.
