This spacious vacation home has been lovingly furnished in the traditional Tuscan fashion. It is beautifully situated on a slope in the little medieval town of Poppi, in Casentino. It is surrounded by a large, well-tended property with trees, shrubs and a pool. An outdoor shower is available, and there is plenty of space, especially for children. There is a pizzeria within walking distance, as well as a number of small shops for your daily needs. A characteristic weekly market, which is also within walking distance, is held every Tuesday. The house's ground floor has typical rounded arches, behind which you'll discover a light-filled living room, 1 kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with shower, in front of which you'll find the sunny breakfast patio. The 2nd floor (1st GB) has 1 living room/dining room with a fireplace, in front of which you'll find the shady terrace, 1 spacious, fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom. The vacation home is located in the romantic little village of Poppi in Casentino, amidst the hilly, forested landscape between Florence and Arezzo. Nature is pristine here, and you'll experience daily life in a small Tuscan town, far from mass tourism. Poppi was elected one of Tuscany's loveliest and most characteristic towns in 2002, and has remained so ever since. All of this world famous region's interesting arts and cultural cities are a minimal distance away. Florence is 55 km, Arezzo 30 km, Cortona 50 km, and Siena 80 km away. All of these cities can be visited comfortably on a day trip, arriving home to the pleasant climate of your vacation home in the evening. There is also plenty to see in the vicinity, the most well-known sights being the 'Camaldoli' and 'La Verna' cloisters, the later of which was made famous by Francis of Assisi and the ceramics of the Robbia family.

The 'Golf-Club Casentino' is situated in a beautiful panoramic location, just minutes from the house. It is a 9-hole course, which, according to enthusiasts, is a real challenge to those used to playing on flat fairways; something for experienced players. It has a beautiful clubhouse with a bar and a restaurant, with a terrace and an incomparable view of Poppi Castle, as well as the delightful surrounding landscape.
