Enjoy your holidays in Mediterranean style! We invite you to our Ca`de Röse, our quiet little House of Roses, located in the sun drenched terraced hills of romantic Fontanabuona Valley in Liguria. Just a cock’s stride (30 min. by car) from the Riviera coastline with its wonderful beaches in Chiavari, Sestri Levante and Moneglia and its trendy shopping malls, elegant marinas and nice little cafés in Rapallo, St. Margherita and the world-famous Portofino. Come to explore the Cinque Terre or keep listening to the birds and cicadas. The house is completely renovated, six spacious guestrooms are redecorated. In keeping with the historic Ligurian farmhouse our “locanda” once was, we have left the original wooden beams at the ceilings, terracotta- and wooden floors, and the typical “trompe l’oeils” painted on the facade. Relax underneath our old olive trees and let us invite you to a glass of red Italian wine!

The Locanda 'Cà de Rose' is a recently renewed country side villa with six double rooms, three of them with own bathroom and separate entrance. A marvellous view on the green Fontanabuona-Valley and the mountains of the Ligurian Appennin. 10 km th the seaside resort of Rapallo and the Tigullio-Golf. 'Cà de Rose' is surrounded by evergreen olive trees and the menu offered is based on many local products.

The prices stated above are including a rich breakfast. You may join to our half board - even agreeing it from day to day - with typical Ligurian food as antipasti, first and second course, sweet and coffee. In the price of 18 € is included a half litre of wine (red or white) and the table water.
Relax underneath our old olive trees and let us invite you to a glass of red Italian wine on our lovely garden terrace, fragrant with the scent of rosemary, mint and, of course, roses. Afterwards you might like to sit in our little restaurant and enjoy a traditional country style Ligurian cuisine. Everybody who wants to explore the Cinque Terre, the ancient Genoa or the Jet-Set Area of Portofino find a base in the Roses House. Nature lovers, friends of the rumours of cicadas and birds, families with or without children find a friendly atmosphere to spend nice and peaceful holidays.
Living with the nature of Columbus
More than a hundred years ago the grandfather of the actual owner came back from America and built up this beautiful house on a rock looking to the marvellous Goodfountain Valley (Val Fontanabuona, with the slate stones worked in the closed-by slate mine. A lot of Italians and more Ligurians went to America in past centuries. And while this man came back to his roots one of his close relatives founded the Columbus Day in America, Mr. Angelo Noce, born not even a hundred meters from the Roses House. A memorial tablet is posted in front of the mother of the current owner, Mrs. Olga Noce. An even Columbus itself once was inhabitant of this beautiful valley, came to earth at Terrarossa di Colombo, just a few kilometres up to the valley.
Sports
There is a wide range of possible sporting activities. Apart from football, volleyball and tennis which can be played just round the corner in the village’s centre, the favourites are hang-gliding, sailing, biking, trekking and fishing. There is an 18 hole golf course in Rapallo. Not to mention our own big ground and garden – the perfect playground for children.
The 18-hole, international Golf ground of Rapallo is not a half an hour by car.
