Surrounded by a tight hedge of rhododendron ,with plenty of palm-trees in it ,lies this cosy little bungalow in a large garden(garden-furniture) with lawns, flower-beds ,a patio and sufficient place to park cars, far away from the noise, the traffic and the hustle of today. From where you are you gain a great panoramic view of Ireland’s highest mountains. Enjoy the nature and tranquillity. After a short walk you look down on one of Ireland’s most renowned beaches 'Rossbeigh' a 4 mile long, safe, sandy, 'blue flag' beach, in peak-times supervised by life-guards. It is 2.5 miles to the picturesque village of Glenbeigh with shops, 4 pubs, 3 restaurants, 2 riding-stables, a sports complex, children playground etc... Glenbeigh lies on the Ring of Kerry and undoubtedly ranks among Ireland’s most attractive villages, particularly in spring, when the rhododendron and in autumn, when gorse and fusia bloom. Glenbeigh, situated on the Ring of Kerry in the Southwest of the island, is favoured by the Gulf Stream. The picturesque village stretches from Dingle Bay on the Atlantic to Ireland’s highest mountains, the McGillycuddy´s Reeks (1200 m). Glenbeigh offers one of the country’s top golfclubs 'Dooks' (18 holes, Par 71.5582 m) & superb fishing for salmon & trout on Caragh River + lake. Only 2 km from the house is one of Ireland’s best beaches 'Rossbeigh' (6 km of fine, safe sandy 'blue flag' beach, supervised at peak-times). The house is only a few steps from Ireland’s top walk the 'Kerry Way' & about 4 km from the village with shops, 3 restaurants, 4 pubs, 2 riding-stables & bike-hire facilities. The ideal starting-point for tours of the 'Ring of Kerry', the Dingle peninsula, the highlands of Glencar, Derrynane National Park. You should definitely not miss out on the Skelligs, a most spectacular trip to Europe’s outpost, 2 islands 7 sm off the coast, rooted in Ireland’s monastic history.
