This is a lovely, typical Budapest city apartment with high-ceilinged rooms in a big, classical tenement built in 1898. You can reach the first floor apartment via a bright inner courtyard through the lavish stairway and entrances typical for such tenements. The eat-in-kitchen lies to the right of the hall, the sauna, WC and bath lie to the left. Straight ahead is the large living room with a seating arrangement in the classical style and satellite TV (ASTRA). Two separate beds (a total of 6 sleeping-places) can be found in the bedroom. The fully equipped eat-in-kitchen with dishwasher and table with place for 6, as well as the bath with shower and washing machine and WC are recently renovated. Hence, one can have a good time after an adventurous day in Budapest and also wind up the day, e.g. with a sauna. So that you do not have too much luggage, we provide you with towels and bed linen!

If you step out of the house, you are at the entrance of the second oldest market hall of Budapest, in which you can buy all that you need for life. You can also pay with a credit card in the supermarket in the market hall. The apartment, surrounded by large, old rental apartments, built at the end of the 18th century lies in an extremely favorable location in the city center. The Ring road (Jozsef Körut) on which the tramways 4 and 6 run connecting the Buda and Pest via the Margareten and Petöfi bridges is at a walking distance of 2 minutes. The Blaha Lujza Platz, from where you can board the Metro line 2 which passes below the Danube and also reach Line 1 and 3 is at a walking distance of seven minutes. You can reach the promenade of the Danube in fifteen minutes by foot and stroll along it on a lovely evening. You can buy groceries and drinks at CBA, a small supermarket on Ring road (50 m) which is open till late in the evening.

The large couch can be converted to a bed for two adults. There are two beds in the bedroom, which can be easily extended to two extra beds.

The bath as well as the WC are newly renovated and are therefore of the most modern sanitary engineering. The shower cubicle has glass walls and a beautiful mirror illuminated on the back hangs over the designer wash basin. For those who are grumpy in the mornings, there is a separate switch which discreetly illuminates only the wash basin and the shower. There is a washing machine as well as a facility to hang the laundry for drying in the bath. The towel heater, which preheats and dries the towels in winter is also convenient.
