The real estate is opened up by a narrow road from the nearby village Harakopio used only by residents and is situated within surrounding olive- and vineyards in an absolute quiet area. The house was erected in traditional Greek stile. Two bedrooms and the living room are situated along a 40 m² seaside-terrace which is roofed with a bower. You find the kitchen, a box-room, the WC and the shower-bathroom within the opposite house side. In the surrounding garden grow Mediterranean plants and trees between which you can find a shower and a port for two cars. In high-summer the house can be air conditioned, in winter it is heated with gas. Alternative ceiling-ventilators can be used for cooling the rooms in summer.

The holiday home is situated in the most fruitful Greek landscape Messinias on the southernmost point of the European continent nearby the village Harakopio in an absolute quiet place within Mediterranean countryside. The seaside road from Kalamata to Koroni passes Harakopio. The house itself is situated half-way between the village and the seaside with its 1,5 km sandy beach. The village Harakopio as well as the seaside you reach within 15 minutes walking distance. Church, supermarket, butcher, bakery, coffee shop, small restaurants, pharmacy and a doctor’s surgery you will find in Harakopio. There are also two small taverns on the beach. Each room of the house is sided to the 40 m² terrace with a wonderful view over the sea to the 40 km distanced peninsula Mani with Mount Taygetos.
Availability notes Notes for the day of change: As we like to present our guests a well cleaned up house, the villa is ready for you on the day of arrival from 3:00 p.m. On the day of departure you can stay in the house until 10:00 a.m. Individual arrangements by appointment.

Both sleeping rooms are furnished with double bed, fitted cupboard and a small table. Dining table and a corner sitting unit is situated in the living room. Sofa-bed and folding bed-chair are available additional in the living area. The equipment of the kitchen is well done. A baby-chair is also available. The 40 m² terrace can be used as 'outdoor-living-room' during summer. The plot of land includes a 4500 m² olive-grove and about 1000 m² of it are surrounded by a fence including the cottage and a Mediterranean garden-plot. As domestic-animals only small pets are allowed. Not allowed are dogs, because dogs would destroy the plastic-pipes of the irrigation plant in the garden area.
You can reach in 30 minutes by car the 40 km distanced airport of Kalamata (rented car possible).The airport of Athens you reach in about 4 hours; in summer aeroplanes also fly to Araxos south of Patras. To the ferryboat in Patras you need about 3.5 hours by car. For those who are interested in ancient civilization it is possible to reach each of the most important sites as there are: Olympia, Mykene, Messinia, Mistra, Sparta, Nestor Palace, Korinth, Epidaurus, within one day journeys. Those who only want to relax find many romantic beaches with water of first quality.
