Our house is beautifully located in a nature protected area, in a historic village (almost 1000 years old) named Ruckersfeld, at the foot of the Rothaargebirge. The “Rothaargebirge” is a big nature park with more then 500 km marked biking and walking routes. A very famous walking route (42 km) starts in Ruckerfeld. Besides this, nearly all kind of sports and activities in the surrounding area are available.
