The villa is located on the edge of the Murnau, surrounded by a park-like garden with a fantastic mountain panorama. You can get to Murnau with a 10 minute walk. The picturesque location has many alleys with beautiful restaurants, cafes and boutiques and offers you a lot of possibilities for shopping. Murnau became famous through its famous artists Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter – they lived and worked here from 1909 – 1914.

The Murnau Moos is a unique sanctuary for flora and fauna and a hiking paradise. Staffelsee, Riegsee and Froschhauser See for swimming, surfing, sailing, rowing or cycling. The alps are perfect for hiking and mountain climbing, for alpine skiing and cross country skiing. A lot of possibilities for jogging and Nordic walking. Horseback riding, mini golf, fishing, kite flying, balloon rides. A lot of destinations nearby: in a radius of 40 km you will find some of the most important churches, castles and monasteries in Bavaria. And in just under an hour you can be in Munich.
