The health resort of Münster valley (5000 inhabitants) is singularly located in a valley, which rises from the Rhine plain near Staufen up to the 1414 m above the sea high Belchen, the most beautiful mountain of the black forest. 'Skiing and Sledging' is still good up here, when trees standing in full bloom deep in the valleys of the upper Rhine plains are 20 min by car. A splendidly primitive region in which ravines and wild brooks, thick woods and vine expanses so thick rarely lie close together. A marvellous time to undertake excursions on foot or with the mountain bike. By train 'rapidly' in the Münster valley: Travel in the ICE/IC/EC or in the Interregio-holiday train to Freiburg. From there with the Münster valley road (private road of the SWEG) towards untermünster valley. Further information with the German railways. The guests who arrive by train and spend their holiday in Münster valley can get in touch with the tourist information. Münster valley map of trails as a present.

Excellently climate - for guest and for environment is our motto. Energy and climate. Energy conservation and with it also climate protection is of utmost priority here. Our 'classical' energy sources are limited and the existence of resources like coal, oil and natural gas are decreasing continuously. To save energy and with it resources which reduce impacts on the climate and switching over to the use of renewable energy - that is the purpose. The energy of the sun utilised for you - our house is equipped with a thermal solar plant and a photovoltaic plant. More electricity is generated than is utilised in the house. Nature conservation and landscape protection is of utmost importance here. An intact nature and well-tended, diversified man-made landscape is the asset that the Black Forest has to offer. Hence, the uppermost maxim should be to protect and to maintain these elements.
