For Obama-Fans, Berlin-explorers and „Berliners to be“. Convenient for (big) families and (smaller) groups. Why don't you start your day in Berlin with a sunny breakfast in the spacious and functionally equipped living & dining room? Or, perhaps, at the end of the day you may want to have there a 'get together' or a dinner ... The apartment with its 3 bedrooms (six beds and two sofas plus a baby bed) provides you with sufficient space for 6 - 8 persons. The apartment has a dish washer and a washing machine. Please, feel free to ask for the rental bike service (which is nearby) and our babysitter service. Of course, we are very happy to assist you in several languages (among others in English, French, Japanese or Turkish). So, all in all: Just feel like being AT HOME IN BERLIN!

The apartment is conveniently located within the ‘Tiergarten district' at Berlin-Mitte. It resides within a residential quarter close to the 'Stephanplatz', which is characteristical for Berlin's architecture built during the turn of the 19th century. The New Government District (with its embassies), the Parliament Building ('Reichstag'), the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, Potsdamer Platz, the ‘Tiergarten’ park, river ‘Spree’ (with its beach bars) and the new Central Railway Station are all within walking distance (approx. 20 - 25 min to the railway station) or can be easily and quickly reached by bus. Subway (2 lines, 3 stations) and local commuting (S-Bahn) are within walking distance or can be also reached by bus (bus stop is very close to the apartment). Access to the Tegel Airport (TXL) by taxi is easy and reasonably priced (approx. € 14 one way).

The apartment belongs to an old characteristical Berlin-style building (refurbished). The apartment has been renovated, newly and functionally equipped in September 2008. Due to its geographical exposure (eastern, southern and western direction) the apartment is very bright! As the apartment is looking towards the backside of the building, it is very quiet and has no noise from the street. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern electric cooker / oven, dish washer, microwave and a sufficient quantity of dishes, cooking pots and pans etc.!
