We offer a charming, quiet two room apartment in one of the loveliest districts of Berlin. The apartment is situated in the 2nd floor of a very well maintained art nouveau house with several historic details, e.g. lovely art nouveau mosaics in the hallway. It is completely equipped with parquet floors and is very bright. The spacious living room with integrated kitchenette is equipped with dining table, art nouveau sideboard and a cozy sofa (bed). There are flowers and herbs in front of the big windows, the latter can be used by you when required. Open the windows and breakfast in sunshine, from mid-March to mid-October! Like the living room, the small, comfortable bedroom with double bed also offers a view of the vine entwined inner courtyard. Our apartment is suited for 2 or 4 persons as well as for 2 persons, who wish to sleep in two separate bedrooms. The pretty little bathroom can be accessed separately from both the bedroom as well as the living room.

Our apartment located in the corner of the Niebuhr and Wieland street is particularly suited for guests interested in art and culture and who also like to go out for a pleasant, cultured evening. The historical city of Berlin has remained somewhat unchanged in our neighbourhood. Stylish restaurants, sophisticated cocktail bars and cozy cafés with lavish summer terraces are lined around the Savignyplatz offering very reasonable prices in spite of the upscale ambience. We will gladly inform you our personal favorites! The German opera, the Theater des Westens and the Schaubühne are within walking distance. After 3 minutes by foot to the Savignyplatz station, the train brings you to the Friedrichstraße station close to the Museum island and Reichstag in 11 minutes. The A-Trane or the Jazzbar in Stilwerk, both within walking distance, are the top addresses for the lovers of jazz. Fair visitors easily reach the exhibition grounds by train without changing trains (travel time of 7 mins).

Notes to the rental rates: The overnight stay rate of 79 € applies to an occupancy by 1 or 2 persons plus electricity as per consumption according to the meter reading (from experience, the cost of electricity amounts from 0.75 € to 1.25 € per day). bed linen and towels are provided at no extra charge. We charge a surcharge amounting to 19.50 € / night per extra adult (9.50 € for children up to the age of 17) for an occupancy of 3 to 4 persons. The final cleaning is inclusive with a stay of 5 nights or longer. If you stay for less than 5 nights, then we charge you 1 x 30 €. A weekly cleaning and change of bed linen is inclusive with a stay of 9 nights or more. An additional cleaning or change of bed linen is also possible upon request ( extra cleaning 23 €, extra bed linen 7 €). We charge 3.50 € per wash for the joint use of our washing machine (upon request).
Special offer for 1 week: 5 = 7 (EUR 395 per week) for 1 or 2 persons, surcharge per extra adult EUR 97.50 per week (children up to the age of 17, 48.75 EUR).

The small, comfortable bedroom offers a lovely view of the inner courtyard entwined with vines. It is very quiet, like the entire apartment. The high-grade sofa bed (1.60 x 2 meter) in the living room offers another option for sleeping for 2 persons. Thus, our apartment is suited for 2 to 4 persons as well as for 2 persons, who wish to sleep in two separate bedrooms.

Notes
The kitchenette offers all appliances and crockery needed for preparing small, elaborate meals. Toaster, electric kettle and French coffee machine are provided. Tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper as well as tea towels are provided. There is no washing machine, but we gladly offer you the use of our washing machine when required. There is a Laundromat around the corner.
Our apartment in the corner of the Niebuhr & Wieland street is very conveniently placed as regards transport facilities in the center of Berlin. It is only 5 minutes by foot to Kurfürstendamm, numerous cultural facilities, like e.g. the German Opera, can also be reached by foot. The connection to Berlin-Center is also excellent: It is 3 mins by foot to the Savignyplatz station, from where you reach the Friedrichstraße station in 11 minutes. You can, e.g., walk it to the Museum island & to Reichstag from there. The trains run nonstop at 5 minute interval. If you are travelling by air, the Bus 109 from the Tegel airport will get you to the Olivaer Platz at Kurfürstendamm in 20 minutes. We are at a 5 minute walking distance from there. Please take the S-9 metro from the Schönefeld airport and alight after 50 minutes at the Savignyplatz station (Exit Schlüterstraße) We are 3 minutes away from there. Guests arriving by train can travel directly by the metro (9 min. travel from Berlin Stn).
Journey by car, Parking facilities
As a rule, you can park outside our house without any problems, however, it is chargeable (0.25 € per 15 minutes) during the day from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can park free of cost after 2:00 pm on Saturdays as well as on Sundays and holidays. There is a public underground parking at the Walter-Benjamin-Platz just round the corner (2 € per hour, 15 € for a 24-hour ticket). If you are traveling by car, we recommend that you first check-in after which you can park your car on the Marie-E.-Lüders-street, which is at a distance of approx. 15 minutes by foot. You may park your car there for no charge.
