There are 8 bedrooms with double bed; 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. 2-persons couch bed in the second living room. The altitude of the chalet is 1450 m; the top of the ski area La Plagne/Paradiski is 3250 m (glacier). Champagny is a charming, traditional Savoyan mountain village, part of the huge ski area ParadiSki (La Plagne and Les Arcs). The chalet is situated in the Champagny-Le Haut, 5 km to the village center and the alpine skiarea (ski bus connection; toll). The chalet offers a splendid panoramic view. Near the chalet (100 to 500 m) you find the nordic skiing area of Champagny, a bob run for kids and ice climbing tower as well as a restaurant and the office of the National Park. The village is dominated by original savoyan chalets and rural life with traditional mountain farms. In summer, their hiking pathes in the national park are starting at the chalet. Facilities in Champagny-Center: Kinder garden (from 2 years on), restaurants, cafés, bars, discotheque, super market, shopping area around the main place, cinema (French) and doctor.

Vanoise National Park and Pralognan
Vanoise National Park is -together with the directly connected Park of Gran paradiso/Italy- the widest protected nature area of the Alps. It's a paradise for hikers, climbers and nature observatory. The park entrance house is situated 200 m from the chalet. The neighbour village of Pralognan (12 km) offers a modern sports center with indoor pool, sauna, Olympic ice rink (Curling).
Champagny is part of the ParadiSki area (La Plagne and Les Arcs) with 425 km of alpine slopes, 140 lifts, up to 3.250 m with glacier skiing; ski area open approx. 17th December to 23th April. The major ski areas La Plagne and Les Arcs created a new common area called Paradiski in 2003. From Champagny you are in 7 minutes by cable car on 2000 m altitude and you reach the glacier section by high speed chair lifts. There is a Snowpark for snowboarder and skiers in the Champagny sector.
