This is a comfortable Savoyan style Chalet on three floors. Natural stone and wood are dominating the interior. No car is needed because ski area, shopping and after ski facilities are nearby (100 to 300 m). In the ground floor there is a double room, a 2-pers.-room with bunk bed and a 2-pers.-couch bed in the second living room (passage room). You have a bath with shower and a separate WC. Access to to 1. floor by external staircase. On floor 1, you find the cosy living/dining-room with table and charming sofa corner and satellite TV. A well equipped, modern kitchen area with dishwasher, refrigerator including freezing part, gas cooker, oven, microwave and toaster awaits you. You have a bath with tub and a separate WC. There is a double room, 1 baby bed (free). On the 2. floor you have a double room, a 4-pers.-room with single beds, a bath with shower and WC. Both rooms are with exit to a large balcony, south side. Champagny is a charming, traditional Savoyan mountain village, part of the huge ski area ParadiSki (La Plagne and Les Arcs). You have direct access from Chapagny by a modern high speed cable car. The village is dominated by original savoyan chalets and rural life with traditional mountain farms. Facilities: Kinder garden (from 2 years on), restaurants, cafés, bars, discotheque, super market, shopping area around the main place, cinema (French), office of the National Park, doctor. South situated, the village offers a splendid panoramic view.

Vanoise National Park and Pralognan
Vanoise National Park is -together with the directly connected Park of Gran paradiso/Italy- the widest protected nature area of the Alps. It's a paradise for hikers, climbers and nature observatory. The neighbour village of Pralognan (12 km) offers a modern sports center with indoor pool, sauna, Olympic ice rink (Curling).

It is 150 m to the La Plagne / ParadiSki ski area (modern cable car and alpine slopes).
Champagny is part of the ParadiSki area (La Plagne and Les Arcs) with 425 km of alpine slopes, 140 lifts, up to 3.250 m with glacier skiing; ski area open approx. 17th December to middle/23th of April.
The major ski areas La Plagne and Les Arcs created a new common area called Paradiski. From Champagny you are in 7 minutes by cable car on 2000 m altitude and you reach the glacier section by high speed chair lifts. There is a Snowpark for snowboarder and skiers in the Champagny sector.
