If you value the sunny Mediterranean Sea, its brightness and perfect water temperatures, but also love dune beaches as large as those found at the Atlantic, then our new beach house at Port Camargue the one vacation destination is for you. Only since 2006 does it stands here, quiet, at one small roundel located 400 m away from the next sea and numerous marinas, 800 m away from the next sandy beach and 10 min. by bicycle from the splendid “Plages de l´Espiguette” dune beaches. Small, enclosed estate which consists mostly of a terrace with view to the surroundings and a settled playground (130 m2). Large and bright living area with opened plan kitchen area, 4 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 showers and 3 water closets. In the interior and exterior walls the white tones will bring out the best of the pastel colors on the fabrics and the teak wood. It is our intention to give to this house a fresh, cosy and simple atmosphere. The house is equipped with air conditioning and heating system.

The Camargue is a unique landscape that has to thank its peculiarity to the Rhone River’s moods, the sea’s influence and the winds. Swamps, lakes and lagoons alternate with glut places which communicate through natural water straits to open sea. These canals are called „Graus” in German. The whole water paradise became a tourist hotspot around the Camargue Port. Just imagine a truly meaningful marina which offers many parks and green areas around uncountable yacht harbours, water canals, boat passages and lakes in order to offer the visitors a variety of recreation and amusement possibilities the same as services. The former fisher town “Le Grau du Roi” is located directly next to the port and provides a touch of historical atmosphere. In total there are three sandy beaches, among which the dunes of “Plages de l´Espiguette” are of first quality and part of a nature reserve area. Many sandy beaches run next to the blue Mediterranean waters.

Notes to the rental rates: We will ask for you a 25 % down payment upon reservation. The remaining balance plus the charge for cleaning and laundry services are payable at the latest 6 weeks before the arrival. Water and electricity consumption are charged separately at the house. The amount will vary depending on the consumption. The charge for cleaning and laundry service must be paid and it costs € 120 per accommodation. The insurance covering reservation cancellations of 25 % plus the legal liability will be charged with € 38. The security deposit is of 1500 Euro. The amount will be paid by cash upon arrival and before the departure you will get it back if no damages whatsoever are reported or notorious and the additional costs (water- power) are balanced.

Bedroom 1 has 17 m2; it is in the first floor and offers an ensuite bathroom with water closet. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have from 10 - 12 m2 and are on the second floor. Bedroom 4 is suiting mostly for kids and young. A 140 cm wide folding double mattress can be found in the living room.
The bathroom/toilets and a shower plus water closet are in the first floor, the shower with water closet is for all the bedrooms on the floor.

In the living room is a sofa and 2 comfortable armchairs, also a dining table with 6 chairs. In the kitchen it also offers a second dining area for 4 people. The terrace furniture is still a little sparse but we are working on improvements. Behind the house there is a place for lawn bowling. A parking area is located next to the estate and 100 m away you can also find a public parking area for further cars.
The Gard state offers important sights capable of seducing culture and nature fans, Mediterranean lovers, mountains friends, historians and party lovers. Visit us and have fun, it is so easy! Within a radius of 50 km around Port Camargue you can visit “Aigues Mortes” the Mediterranean fort city of Ludwig the Saint, “Nimes” with its buildings dating from Roman times and an interesting, modern city architecture. At “Port du Gard” you can see the roman aqueduct which offers a wonderful bathing area at the “Gard“ River. St. Gilles with its beautiful abbey at “Pilger” Road next after “St. Jago of Compostella”. Other sights are “Les Saints Maires de la Mer” -a gypsy worship town-, “Arles” with its wonderful provincial atmosphere; “Montpellier”, “Traumuni”, “Technopolis”, the Historic City and Festival Centre for demanding children and adults.

At Port Camargue you can do any water sport and also try other possibilities like : 1 centre of Thalaso-therapy, horse riding down to the beach, 1 tennis club, 7 bicycle tracks, 1 golf camp, 2 bowling pitch areas, 1 casino, 1 nightclub and 1 famous Sea Museum.
