The village lies in the middle of Europe’s biggest pine forest, the so-called ‘Landes’. The beach is 9 km away. There is a lovely cycle path that links the village with the beach. All shopping facilities can be easily reached on foot.

Bed linen is included in the price. The final cleaning charge is 70 euros (unless you clean the room yourself). A deposit of 300 euros must be made upon arrival, which is returned on departure.
The house has a bar room with couch and TV as well as a dining room. The new kitchen (25 m²) has seating and access to the garden. Two of the bedrooms each have a small wash cabinet (shower and wash basin), the other two have a complete bath (simple but practical). The rooms have been repapered and equipped with new beds.
There is a riding stable 4 km away from where you can ride out onto the beach. If you go canoeing you can explore the ‘Courrant’, which flows directly into the sea. There are many day excursions available if you take a car, e.g. Biarritz, the Pyrenees, Lourdes or the ‘Dune de Pilat’, Europe’s largest dune. You can also go on excursions to some of the wine-growing areas around Bordeaux.
Hiking and biking
Out of season, if you like healthy holiday activities, consider a beach hike or a bicycle tour through the pine forests (there are cycle trails).
Our house is close (30 km approx.) to one of Europe’s 20 most beautiful golf courses – Moliets Plage. This golf course lies in the middle of beautiful pine forests and four of the holes are played on dunes which look directly onto the sea. There is an eighteen hole course for experts and a nine hole course for beginners. You also have the possibility of practicing daily for a modest price at Mimizan (20 km approx.), which has a driving range and three holes.
