La Baïne - Quiet holiday home with garden - close to the beach

Though 'La Baïne' is located in the 'center' of Messanges, being the last property on a small dead end road its situation is very quiet. The fenced garden of 600 sqm borders on a little streams meadows. Facing nature the garden offers a lot of privacy. There are neighbours on only one side. The house has 90 sqm and is facing southwards with its terrace and French windows. All rooms are on the ground floor. Passing a small entrance hall, there is a 35 sqm combined living- and dining-room with an open fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with tub, the two double rooms, 12 sqm each, and a separate toilet. You will find an additional sofa-bed for two persons in the living-room. If necessary we have another folding bed as well. Linen are not provided. There is enough garden furniture and a barbecue at your use. The beach is at a comfortable distance of 1800 meters, even walkable or reachable by bicycle on the near cycle track.

Messanges is a surfers beach in summertime. Especially in late summer and autumn the beach of Messanges and the neighbouring beaches offer very good surf-conditions. The nearby Hossegor is even said to be the best surf spot in Europe. The world's best surfers can be watched there by the end of August during the world championship. But even in Messanges you will be watching very good locals, when the conditions are well. In summer the local surf club rents surfboards and wetsuits on the beach and there are daily surf courses for children and adults.

There are two greens (18 and 9 holes) at Moliets, 3 km from Messanges. They are said to be one of the most famous golf courses in Europe, as they are right next to the ocean.
