St. Patrice de Claids in Manche
This is a magnificent Normandy manor which has been tastefully renovated, retaining a lot of the original character features including a tower with spiral staircase. The accommodation provides an enormous living room/ dining hall with huge, working fireplace, stone clad walls, beamed ceilings, tapestry, 2 x 3 seating sofas, occasional day bed, dining table and chairs. An archway from the living room leads to the newly fitted kitchen which has an electric hob and oven. There is a bedroom and en suite shower room plus separate WC on the ground floor, together with a further room which can be used to sleep child/children. There are 3 further bedrooms, 2 with en suite bathrooms on first floor. Large grounds with many ornamental trees and shrubs. Table tennis table and two bicycles are also available for your entertainment.

The manor is located in the hamlet of St. Patrice de Claids, amidst woodland area ideal for walking, cycling and picnics. It is just 6 km from the town of Periers, and within easy driving distance of Saint Lo and Coutances for larger shops, restaurants, swimming pools and ice skating rink in Coutances. The sandy beach at St Germain sur Ay is approx. 20 minutes by car. There are golf courses at Marchesieux (9 km), St. Martin de Bréhal, Agon Coutainville, and Granville. It is possible to go to Jersey by ferry from Carteret during the summer season and all year round from St Malo. The D Day landing beaches are 30 minutes away.
