Ceret is very animated and offers a lot of possibilities (walking, bicycle, swimming pool, museum, culture). It was one of the preferred towns of famous painters (Pablo Picasso, Chagall, Soutine). All the summer there are animations: expositions, music, concerts, feria, corridas, sardines or dances. The town is useful with a market every Tuesday and Saturday, supermarkets and different shops. The fresh streets, the little places with restaurants and bars, the trees, make the walking in this typical French village very nice.
