Old Savoyer chalet with comfort, charm and luxury. Winter vacation in a 200 year old Savoyer farm house on the edge of one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Savoyen in the middle of the largest adjacent ski region in Europe. The rooms are all located on the 1st floor and the ground floor. From the patio, you will have a unique view of the Val d'Abondance. You will live on more than 150 m². In the basement there is an additional sauna area and outside on the patio you will find a jacuzzi (whirlpool). Furthermore, there is a heated ski/ski shoe room. The highlight is the open, spacious, large kitchen with a bar and dining room. There are 6 double rooms, 2 with a large French bed, 2 with 2 massive single beds and 2 with beautiful bunk beds. There is the option, if needed, to place one or two cots in the rooms. Altogether, there is enough space for 12 people, if children come with, then a party of up to 14 people.

The lively ski region Chatel connects to comfort of the modern French ski stations with the charm of a typical Savoyer mountain village. Exclusively traditional wooden chalets characterize the image of the city. A lot of restaurants, a disco, cafes, a movie theater, multiple bars - some with live music, boutiques, sport shops and restaurants and a market that occurs every Wednesday invite you to visit. In Chatel and the surrounding area you will find the most beautiful and interesting slopes of all of Portes du Soleil. On the valley descent, you will have a unique view of Chatel. The Savoyer chalet can also be booked with service including the following services. Minimum booking per date: 8 guests stay in double room. Service: 7 *breakfast buffet + lunch package option, 3 * evening menus with specialties from the region, evening snacks, welcome drink, guiding, programs, 1 ski region introduction, 1 ski region tour, visitor's tax, discount for children: up to 8 years 20% up to 12years 10%. Extra: double room as a single room upon request, fee € 175.

On the lower floor, you will find a sauna area and an exterior whirlpool on the south-facing patio. Furthermore, there is also a heated ski/ski shoe room. Furnishing: the highlight is the large, spacious, open kitchen with a bar and a dining room, dishwasher, large gas stove and complete inventory. Next to this is a reading and television room with a sofa corner. In the apartment you will find 2 bathrooms - each with two sinks and a shower and two separate WCs. In the sauna area there are two more showers. The large rooms were created with a lot of attention paid to detail - like personally made cabinets and beds, school desk from about 1900. Some massive wood, some 300 years old, were prepared. Each room has its very own charm. In the hallways, the lamps are equipped with motion sensors. The floor heating provides for comfortable warmth.
Beginners and advanced have the option of buying partial ski region fun in Cahtel. This includes the sunny side Super Chalet with simple descents and the fun and boarder park with a half pipe and multiple jumps with linga/plain dranse with quick learning, also medium and difficult descents. The experienced skiers can use the total ski pass for 220 lifts and 700 kilometers of trails that can never be completely used during a week of a skiing holiday, but offers unlimited options. Prices for a 6 day ski pass: PDS (220 lifts): adult from 16 years: € 200 - seniors from 60 years: 160, children 5-15 years 134. Prices for a 6 day ski pass Chatel (40 lifts): adults form 23 years: € 144, seniors from 60 years + youth 16-22 years: 127, children 5-15 years 108.

Portes du Soleil, skiing without limits. The name 'Tore zur Sonne' (gate to the sun) describes this huge ski region south of Genf See. 12 ski regions in Switzerland and France form the largest ski region on the north side of the Alps. This promises countless descents without traffic or long waiting lines on the more than 220 lift stations. There are primarily slopes ranging from medium to easy slopes. Good and athletic riders will find 'their descents' on very well prepared slopes of all difficulties, on countless moguls or deep powder snow. Due to the convenient geographic location, there is always enough snow from west to north so that there are good snow conditions until the end of April.
