Our fully and lovingly appointed house offers plenty of space for a generous and relaxed vacation for up to 5 persons. Your holiday home of 140 sqm encompasses the upper two floors of a three-storey town house built in 1905 and located in the pretty village Nézignan located between the sea and the mountainous hinterland. The stairwell with separate entrance provides direct access to the first floor, comprising a bright pleasant kitchen with adjoining dining room and a spacious and inviting living/family room of 30 sqm. Here you will find lots of music to listen to. From the living room two wide French windows open onto a large terrace of 20 sqm ideal for al fresco breakfasts, dining, glass of wine or just a spot of restful sunbathing. The terrace overlooks a garden with fine trees and bushes at the back of the house. On the second floor there are three freshly renovated bedrooms with wooden flooring. The bathroom and toilet are located on the second and first floor respectively.

The sunny village of Nézignan is surrounded by vineyards and boasts a picturesque old town centre. It is handily located near the A9 and has a bakery, bar, small grocery store and post office. The charming town of Pézenas with its historical centre, attractive restaurants and good shopping including a farmer’s market is only 4 km distant. Ryanair operates cheap flights from the UK to Béziers-Agde and Montpellier (20/60 km, car rental at airport). There are attractive beaches all along the coastline, the nearest being just 15 km distant. Agde and Sète are well worth a visit and the Bassin de Thau with its pretty villages serves up marvellous oysters. Further inland the surroundings are wilder and entice with romantic gorges, caverns, the Lac du Salagou and great walking/hiking trails through rocky Mediterranean landscape. Other prime places to visit are Montpellier, Béziers, St. Guilhem, Roquebrun, Narbonne and Perpignan as well as the various winegrowing regions. We will advise gladly.
Availability notes Standard changeover is on Saturdays during the main holiday season (July/August). Outside of July/August per agreement, individual days beyond one week’s duration are also possible (daily rate €80,00). Occupation as of 17:00 on the day of arrival, the preceding tenant to depart by 11.00 latest on the same day. The time in between is required for cleaning.

Notes to the rental rates: A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is payable upon reservation. The remaining amount is due 4 weeks before start of rental. ----- If the lessee cancels the rental agreement up to 4 weeks prior to start of rental, the rental fee already paid will be retained. In case of cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to start of rental, the full rental fee will be retained. However, if in both cases a new tenant can be found for all or part of the originally agreed period, the lessee will get back a full or partial reimbursement minus a handling fee of € 100,00.
A one-time fee of €60 will be charged for final cleaning.
A security deposit of € 200 will be charged upon arrival. This will be reimbursed if everything is OK upon departure.
The attractive bedrooms were freshly redone in the summer of 2008 and are equipped with ample built-in wardrobe space.

Notes
Since we use the house ourselves it is furnished in a caring and personal style, including some high quality furniture, pictures and the like. English and German language books as well as numerous CDs (Rock/Pop, Jazz, Classical, and World Music) are also available. In the interest of our guests´ well-being, accommodation is limited to a maximum of 5 people.
Towels are provided, tenants must bring their own linen.
Finding parking in front of or behind the house is no problem.
The ground floor with separate entrance and the garden is occasionally occupied by the lessor. If present, we will be happy to give advice or provide assistance.
