Worth to be seen surely is the whole Mediterranean coast, but particularly delightfully the range between Hyères and St.Tropez is, further then until Menton. The beautiful islands Îles d'Or, especially the completely protected Île de port Port-Cros, to be attained by ship from Le Lavandou. The peninsula of St.Tropez offers very beautiful views on the Mediterranean Sea, don’t forget the old villages Gassin and Ramatuelle and the old oil mills of Paillas, and let yourself discover the mystery of French “Art de vivre” in the Restaurant “Bello Visto” at Gassin. You find a ' small Venice ' before entering the gates of St.Tropez at the lagoon-city Port Grimaud. Near Le Lavandou you find a small nest named Bormes Les Mimosas, here you find as many flowers as cats, pictorial corners, pittoresc lanes and small restaurants, what you should have seen in any case (Have a meal at the “Lou Portaou” at the old Bormes, its delicious!).

As much to the eye, now it’s up to the palate. The 'Maurin des Maures ' at Rayol sur Mer has a wonderful sea view from the interior, here you’ll find typical Provence cooking served in original and national typical atmosphere. On the “Route des Crêtes” between the Col du Canadel and the village Bormes Les Mimosas for instance the ' Relais du Vieux Sauvaire ' has got a beautiful view on the coast, a large bar with catch-fresh fish and a delightful Pizza from the fireplace. And if you like to celebrate somewhat also if it’s more frequent than only one time, the restaurant ' Les Roches ' at Aiguebelle nearby Le Lavandou with wonderful meals and wines will be a very good place.
