The castle in an ownership of Cardinal Mazarin which stayed in here 1651 during the period of civil war called 'La Fronde'. This Renaissance castle was progressively changed in a country castle (18. and 19. centuries) with 'Jardins à la française'. It is located near the Meuse River, in the peninsula of Iges, described by Emile Zola as the camp of miseries. It has been the witness of the French capitulation of Sedan in 1870. The castle offers 3 double rooms, 2 mini-suites, a Renaissance dining room with a stone fire place, and a living room, with a capacity of 12 people in a magic and authentic place, which preserved the heart of its origins, for moments of exception. There’s the possibility of accommodation of 6 additional people in the outbuildings.
