The garden in front of the house allows car parking. Garden furniture is available. The house is near the centre of old St. Cast village. Shops are in the neighbourhood. The road leading to the 'grand plage' passes in front of the house. The sandy beach is about 900 m and extends about 1 km between the sheltering rocks.

There is a wild romantic rocky coastline with sheltered bays of sandy beaches. St. Cast Le Guildo is a lovely seaside resort near Cape Frehel. At Matignon a famous weekly market is held every Wednesday, which is really remarkable. At Erquy and St. Cast fish is sold at the harbour. All kinds of water sports are possible
