Domaine Les Tilleuls lies outside of the small village Chavroches in the Allier department and is surrounded by delightful nature, the gentle hill and river landscape and 3 hectare own meadows. Our house was built around 1850 as lodging with farm, and its pleasant hospitality outlasted the times. The newly reconditioned vacation home offers direct entrance to the south terrace and to the garden, where you enjoy the peace and the view on the Besbre valley. From here you can explore the by foot or bicycle. Or you can take a refreshing dive in the river Besbre, only a stone's throw away. In short, it is the ideal environment for a relaxed vacation.
The region Auvergne in the heart of France is excellently suitable for nature lovers and those looking for quietness and is rich with castles and churches. One finds himself far from the mass tourism next to one of the last unbridled rivers of Europe and the varied landscape covers the neighbouring low mountain range Montagne Bourbonnaise. Just like the sand beaches of the river Allier, and with ornithologists well known for its diversity of species. In the village shop you can purchase your daily supplies of fresh croissants, bread and your basic needs. Everything that you otherwise will need you will find only a few kilometres away in Lapalisse.

With arrival, you find clean towels and clean made up beds. If four beds should not be sufficient, there is the possibility of renting a double room with the owners of the house. Domestic animals might be welcome after discussion. As service we offer the possibility for our guests to receive faxes or emails. The use of the washing machine (5 € per machine) or our bicycles is possible.
The numerous knight and costume festivals are very popular in castles and locks in the summer, which let the Medieval Ages revive again. Famous and beloved as a trip goal is the fashionable Spa-Health resort Vichy, but certainly worthwhile is a day trip to the central massif with the extinct volcanoes of the Auvergne close Clermont-Ferrand. You can find the oldest vineyard that France offers in Saint Pourcain sur Sioule. Canoe adventures are offered at the Allier ricer with its easy go water flow steaming on. The very courageous ones float only through the clouds and then on the parachute back to the earth.

You can find everything from the trot and gallop courses in Moulins and Vichy up to the Formula 1-race course in Magny Cours and horseback riding in the mountains.
