This has been a unique concept in Finland so far. This is more than a vacation house. It is the “Winter and Summer Dream 3”, which belongs to 3 villas that have been built in block house style between 2000 and 2003. Aesthetics and comfort have been combined with discreet luxury, a broad service system, attractive excursions, wonderful nature and silence. The “winter dream” concept has been often presented in the media recently and it is described as extremely successful in Scandinavia. The combination between the freedom offered by a vacation house and the hotel-like service, if required, is very special. The American “Hideaway” philosophy has been interpreted in the European way.
Western Lapland is a magic low mountain range landscape that reminds many of our guests of Canada. The Natural Park Pallastunturi, which is an ideal region for hiking and cross country skiing is approx. 25 km from the blockhouse villa. Both in the summer and in the winter, there are many possibilities for entertainment. You can enjoy the snowmobile, dogsleds and reindeer sleds. 4 alpine skiing regions are a 20 - 30 minute drive away. The nearest airport, Kittilä is 50 km away.

Notes to the rental rates: All the additional costs, including the firewood and the final cleaning are included in the rental rate. During your entire vacation, family Temmes is at your disposal, ready to help you out and to give advice. We are talking about a highly comfortable vacation property, and not a maximal “do-it-yourself” vacation apartment. Included in the price are also the welcome-dinner and the food package. Besides, we put the entire cross country skiing equipment and the polar clothing at your disposal, for the entire stay. Also included in the price are the half day long snowmobile ride and a dogsleds safari. The romantic lunch by the open fireplace is also included. The services provided in the summer are: rich instruction service, Canadian canoes, mountain bikes, towels and linen, free sauna usage, final cleaning and all the electricity costs.
The prices are valid for 2 people. Extra costs for the 3rd and 4th person are: between November, 13th until December 18th and from April, 3rd until April, 30th 590,- € respectively (including all the tourist guided tours and services). The rental rate from December, 18th until January, 9th are 850 € respectively, from January, 9th until February, 12th 740,- €, from February, 12th until April, 3rd 790,- € respectively.
Children up to 4 are our guests for free. Children between 4 and 14 have a 50 % discount.

Winter and Summer dream 3 is a “small sister” of the flagship Winter and Summer dream 1, approx. 800 m from the lake. This house is located at the end of a very little used vacation street, on a 3000 m² large property, 30 m from the lake. The equipment is new and top quality. Like in the case of all the Winter and Summer Dream houses, the kitchen is equipped with “Miele” devices that would make any hobby cook happy. The living room is furnished with comfortable design furniture, combined with Finish massive wood furniture (the dining table). For the ones who love music, we have a B & O stereo system with CD collection of classic and pop. There is also a satellite TV and a DVD player, with a big movie collection. We also put a washing machine and a drier at your disposal. There is a large sauna.
You can go via Helsinki by Finnair to Kittilä (alternative airport Rovaniemi is approx. 200 km away.), and by renting car or shuttle, approx. 50 km from the airport to the Winter dream houses. In the summer, you go by ferry from Travemünde or Rostock to Helsinki. Further on, you can take the motorail train to Kolari or Rovaniemi. Over the country way, you can go via Denmark or Sweden. (From Hamburg, there are approx. 2500 km).
