Notes to the rental rates: The Midsummer prices are for up to 13 persons with the guest house next to the main building. All other prices are for 6 persons without the guest house. If the total number of guests is 7-8, then one or two persons can use the sauna building for accommodation. There is a sofa bed and the price is 105 €/person/week. If the total number of guests is 9-13, you need the quest house. There are 3 beds and a sofa bed for two. The total price for the guest house is 40 €/ day. Max. extra price for 7 - 13 persons is 280 €/week.
In the summer the arrival/departure day is Saturday. Please ask, if you want a shorter period than 1 week in some other season than summer.

Lake Suontee (or Suonne) is over 30 km in length. The water is pure and crystal clear. The villa is situated by the southern part of Suontee, which is one of the most important areas of lake nature protection in Finland.
Fishing
Angling is free to everybody. For the guests of Akseli, fishing areas are large and you can fish with different kinds of methods. Bring your own equipment. For other types of fishing than angling you need to pay only the general national licence (6 €/ week or 20 €/ year) to any bank or post office. Local licences are already paid for you by the host. An ice drill is available for ice angling etc. You can also order fish from local fishermen. Their tel. numbers are in the cottage.
