Paunu cottage - Eastern Finland

Paunu is a lovely little cottage (25 sq. m) with 12 sq. m terrace. The cottage is fully electrified and there is running water with warm shower and sauna. The heating goes by electrical radiators and/or by storing fireplace. The lake and surroundings offer many possibilities for those who like nature. The main archipelago of the southern Suontee is a nature reserve. The nearest skiing centre is 20 km by road or 8 km across the lake.

Boat

A rowing boat is included. It is ideal for scenery cruises or fishing. The nearby archipelago is a nature reserve where you can go by boat or skiing by ice. You can rent an outboard by 40 euro/week.

Fishing

Angling is free for everybody. For other types of fishing, for the guests of Paunu, fishing areas reach for kilometres deep into the nature reserve.

The shore

The sandy shore is lit up. Water is pure and clear. You have two jetties. The lake has more than 30 km length. You can drive by car beside the cottage. An ice drill is available for ice angling.
