Lyngtuen in West Jutland

This very nice cottage is situated in one of the most popular vacation places in Denmark (Blåvand). The house has room for 4 people and 1 dog in three small bedrooms. The living room and kitchen is all-in-one. The kitchen is very well equipped and also provides a microwave. Furthermore there is TV with satellite, radio and telephone. A washing machine is also available. The ground is nice and quiet. When the wetter is good you can sit on the terrace in nice chairs or on a sun bed.

Swimming possibilities

Blåvand is quality through and through, with Denmarks best swimming beach, the southerly Hvidbjerg beach, which offers all the advantages of the North Sea while also being extremely child-friendly because it's sheltered by the big Horns Reef, where the world's biggest offshore wind turbine park is located. Visit the wind turbine park exhibition in the building at Blåvandshuk lighthouse, and climb to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy the outstanding view. Remember to take your binoculars or hire a pair from the shop.

Bird watching

Blåvand is also the birds' number 1 holiday area. The distinctive position at the reef means that masses of migrating birds use Blåvand and Skallingen as a resting and eating area. The migrating birds can be followed on their way all year round, but of course mostly in spring and autumn. Ribe County has erected observation posts at Skallingen and a nature centre at the lighthouse where experienced nature guides are available arranging numerous bird tours and other natural experiences all year round, to which you as a guest are invited.

Worth a visit

Legoland (75 km)- Denmark's world famous amusement park with big sights in miniature size. The maritime museum 'Søfarts - og Fiskerimuseet' a historic meeting with the old trade of the area. Esbjerg (30 km).
