The house is situated in Branzez, right in the Czech Paradise, in a calm area in the countryside, about 70 km north of Prague. Branzez is a holiday resort with a lake – see the photo, with numerous castles, chateaux, ruins, rocks, forests and numerous well-marked hiking routes .On the spot, there is a lake with a beach – 300 m, a bike hire, restaurants, hiking routes, fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis and squash halls. Parking places for 4 cars maximum on the site, and a garden arbor and a camp-fire. The holiday house is perfect as a starting point for various trips, e.g. to the Czech Paradise, to Prague – 30 minutes by car, to the Giant Mountains – 1 hour, and to the Jizera Mountains – 30 minutes. In winter you could get in about 35 car minutes to a large ski resort with all amenities. Also a zoo, and safari-zoo, botanical garden and a large aqua park in the easy reach. In heated indoor-pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, 2x chimneys, 2 conservatories, garden, rotisserie, garden.
The house is located on the half way between Prague and Giant Mountains, in the beautiful countryside of the Bohemian Paradise. In the near neighborhood you will find rocks, castles, ruins, ponds, plenty of paths for trekking. You can reach the capital city Prague (by P+R and using the tube) in about 35 minute’s car drive you get to P+R. The Bohemian Paradise is around the house, the Giant Mountains - Krkonose - in about 60 minutes and the Iser-mountains in 30 minutes. The rock towns of the Bohemian Paradise are written in UNESCO Geoparks You could also visit Lake Macha or the town Melnik.In winter it takes about 30 minutes car drive to get to a large skiing resort with all amenities necessary. Availability notes The guests change mostly on Saturdays. In the low season you can come for a shorter time, but not through 2 weeks - it means you can come from e.g. Saturday to Wednesday, but not from Wednesday to Sunday, except on a very last minute, if available, of course. The house Branzez consists of 3 connected apartments A, B and C. The apartments A and B are identical and there is not possible to rent them separately, only together as a unit, and the given price is for the both apartments A und B together. The apartment C is in the ground floor and you could rent it only together with the house, not separately, also if not rented, remains empty. Each of identical apartments A and B has a l separate entrance, living room with chimney connected with the kitchen, 1x bedroom for 2 persons, 1x bedroom for 3 persons, WC and washroom with shower. The conservatory connects the both apartments and there is a dining table. Beside the conservatory is the terrace. The apartment C has a separate entrance and has also kitchen-living-room with chimney and small bedroom for 2 persons, WC and a bathroom with shower. So together is maximum capacity 12 persons, 5 bedrooms, 3x WC, 3x bathroom, if rented without apartment C : 10 persons, 4 bedrooms, 2x WC, 2x bathroom
The house comprises three holiday apartments. Apartment A is for 5 people maximum, apartment B is equally for 5 people maximum. Both apartments A and B are booked only together and the price is for both apartments together. If you wish, you can also book apartment C for 2 people. This house is suitable for 12 people maximum. It is possible to arrange meals for a group in the restaurant which is nearby. The apartments A and B are identical, 60 m2 each, the apartment C has a living area of 30 m2. There is a terrace and a garden which is 1000 m2 in area. In the garden there are coniferous trees and a well-kept lawn on the south side. All the apartments have a separate entrance, a shower and WC, a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge, a fireplace, electric central heating and new and expensive facilities, SAT-TV, and garden furniture.
Bohemian /Czech/ Paradise
In each apartment A and B: 1x combined lounge - dining room with a direct entrance through the French window to the terrace, 2x bedrooms (1x 3 beds, 1x 2 beds), 1 additional bed in the lounge or in the bedroom 3 beds, is possible. The apartment C – is situated on the ground floor, the entrance is from the other side, with a combined dining room – lounge separated from attached bedroom by a portiere, only for two people maximum. Especially suitable for older people with walking problems; everything is on the same level, including a shower and WC .
Relaxation
Now we have opened also a sauna with a relaxation room, to that belongs also a conservatory, including a heated swimming pool with artificial waves, massage nozzles and special lighting. In 2007 we opened also a steam-cabine. The whole complex is about 70 m2 large, of which the swimming pool covers the area of 20 m2. It is available all-year-round. You will find there a real rest. we have opened on the terrace above the new conservatory, which is connected with both flats and also with the low winter garden with pool and sauna. So we have now two winter gardens:
One of the best golf areals in Czech Republic near Mlada Boleslav opened 2007 is about 20 minutes car drive, others are also in the neigborough - like Sedmihorky, Zelezny Brod, Podebrady, Benatky etc.
Ski information
In about 30 minutes car drive you reach the ski resort Jested - a very good resort - a worldcup race in 2009 will there take place. Also other resorts nearby. We give you more informations, of course
